tea@thechurch Celebrated HM The Queen’s 90th Birthday

HM The Queentea@thechurch at St John's Church, Charlton, celebrated the Queen’s 90th birthday in style on Monday 25th April 2016 with an indoor “Street” party. Everyone was encouraged to wear red white and blue; the church was decorated with flags; a memorabilia table was set up with photos and magazines of the Queen; and an excellent tea was eaten complete with wonderful patriotic cake made by local ex-Army chef, Steve, and decorated by his wife, Donna. Jean played some old songs on the piano as well as the National Anthem.

Happy Birthday, Your Majesty!
