Season of Creation 2023

The Season of Creation (or Creationtide) is the period in the annual church calendar, from 1st September to 4th October, dedicated to God as Creator and Sustainer of all life. In the northern hemisphere this also coincides with the more well-know celebrations of Harvest Festivals which the accelerating and deepening human-made climate crisis places under threat.

The theme for 2023 is “Let Justice Flow” and is being marked and celebrated by all major Christian denominations. Information on how the Church of England is engaging with Creationtide this year can be found here.
